FAQs

Do I need a referral?

NO! You do not need a Dr referral to see a licensed physical therapist in Florida and New Jersey. New Jersey allows for direct access to physical therapists.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is one on one for an HOUR with the physical therapist, compared to traditional outpatient clinics where a therapist is often jumping between patients.

How many sessions will I need?

Like many things it depends on the condition being treated, however with the extensive one on one time with the therapist as well as being seen in your home environment, which is likely to increase compliance with recommendations, often people get better with fewer visits

Why direct pay business model?

Ultimately it allows for improved quality of treatment. Being a direct pay provider removes restrictions placed by insurances, such as number of visits allowed, caps on what may be performed in a visit, or working on “just one body part at a time” On average many patients have out of pocket deductibles of several thousands of dollars, including co-payments (often 15-30 dollars) due at EVERY therapy visit, and traditionally clinics want to see patients two to three times a week. In many cases, the out of pocket expenses for a course of physical therapy will actually be LESS for services provided in a direct pay model. When you factor in that often insurances reimburse for at least part of a physical therapy treatment, the cost to you, the patient, is often even lower, for a much more personalized treatment in your own home!

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Credit Card, Venmo, PayPal

Can I use my insurance to cover the cost?

We accept Medicare in Florida and New Jersey! Most insurance companies, with some exceptions will provide reimbursement for physical therapy services.  An invoice will be provided to you at the time of service, and you may submit that invoice and receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement.
